Writing Coach

Athletes have coaches. Why shouldn’t writers?

I want your writing to bring you joy.

It’s as simple as that. So often, we’re working in a void, and we only emerge after months or years of laboring alone. If you want to hire a professional to help, you already have to have a finished piece. But what if you need help to get to that finish line?

I’ve always adored mentoring contests because they allow me to have a deeper, more ongoing relationship with my writers. It’s not a one-and-done edit letter and then sending the client out on their own for everything that comes next. Not only that, I know I get better results with my mentees in Pitch Wars and other contests because I continue to support them through the process of the revisions. I’m there for them as a whole person, not just as a writer, and it shows in the final results. I’ve always longed for that same synergy in my life as a freelance editor, which is why I’ve opened a parallel practice as a writing coach. I also went back for more training for this specialty, and am now a Author Accelerator Certified Book Coach.

Every package here can be adapted in length and focus to fit your individual needs. The days of writing alone are over, my friend. Let me come along to support you the whole way through.

Michelle is the World’s Best Cheerleader when it comes to keeping a writer motivated. She’s also a fantastic editor and knows how to ask all the right questions to make a story better without dampening any spirits. -Deb Crossland, author of The Quiet Part Out Loud

I’ve moved all my writing coaching over to my official Sanctuary Editorial website, so you can see packages and pricing and visit me there!
